- Filming with Transworld Sport January 2006 - Report by David Mew Head Coach at Westway
Recently the Westway coaching staff were very lucky to work with a crew from Transworld Sport and our own king of the Fives court James Toop. David had invited a group of the most promising and photogenic u12's to take part in a coaching session with him and James. The session was recorded by the team as well as a practice match in which specifics such as serving, cutting etc were highlighted. The day went very well with both children and TV crew enjoying the event.
The crew then attended the County Championships a Eton to take some more shots of match play as well as shots of the original court.

- Channel Five Features Eton Fives 4th September 2008
Rory & Paddy's 'Great British Adventure' provided an excellent ten minute insight into the game of Eton Fives. As well as a visit to the local sports shop to tog up, the introduction featured boys playing on the original Eton College Chapel 'court' whilst the history and rudiments of the game were explained to Rory and Paddy by Mark Williams, master-in-charge of Eton Fives. A short game was played betwqeen the two newcomers each partnered by a student. In a close contest Paddy and his partner were victorious and in celebration Rory sportingly presented Paddy with his Fives Cap.
- Giles Coren Opinion The Times Saturday 27th September 2008
He is contrasting the position of David Cameron and his Etonian cohorts with the failure of the OE Fives Club
` in the first division and their descent for the first time he says in 120 years to the second! On the other hand,
he is vaunting the Old Westminsters for whom he says he played every match last season. noting that Ruth Kelly was
at Westminster with him and other ministers ! Its a fun article but it does give Eton Fives one hell of an airing!
- Radio TalkSport Wednesday 15th October 2008
Last week Howard Wiseman did a splendid job explaining the finer points of Eton Fives in a five minute interview on Radio TalkSport.
