Possible Courts in England
- Bloxham School, Bloxham, Oxfordshire
1 court, but possibly a Rugby Fives Court? Still in use in 1964
- Cottesmore School, Crawley, Surrey
1 court. Used as a coal bunker in 1980. Still in existence.
- Chesterfield Grammar School, Chesterfield
2 courts. Still in use in the 70s. The two courts at the school were converted to storage sheds in 1977 when the school hosted the National Schools Athletics Finals. Shame because I spent many a break and lunch time playing (though one had to wait for the prefects to finish first, or get there before them - anon).
- Guildford School,
2 Courts - email from Stephen Knott June 2006
"Under "Possible Courts in England", you list "Guildford School". I attended the Royal Grammar School Guildford from 1957 to 1964 and there were certainly two fives courts then - they were very popular at the time but I do not know whether they are there now or whether they were for Eton Fives. I suspect not because there are certain features of the Eton Fives courts that I do not recall being present. Singles and doubles were played."
- Hampton Grammar School, Hampton
1 court. Non-standard. Not in use.
- Hardwick Estate, Goring Heath, Berkshire
1 court. Standing in 1978 - possibly no longer in existence.
- Hartlebury, Midlands
1 court open. Buttress wrong dimensions. Still in existence?
- St.James's C of E Middle School, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk
1 court. Possibly no longer in existence.
- Sherborne School, Dorset
