The Association made a profit of £3,156 for the year to 30th June 2001.
The cost of printing the new format annual report accounted for the increase in printing costs this year. Coaching fees fell again as Queen Elizabeth Barnet became self-sufficient. Half the cost of coaching at schools is refunded to the Association by the Eton Fives Charitable Trust.
Match Management fees (£667) relates to the support given to the scheme to help club match managers arrange players for their fixtures. This was taken up by three clubs in this first year of the scheme.
HSBC Insurance Services (formerly Holmwoods) again sponsored the Schools Championships in the sum of £1,500. We continue to be indebted to them for this and for the excellent evening's entertainment of the Bursars and Masters-in-Charge of Fives, which was hosted at Harrow this year.
All revenue from the sale of coaching manuals, ties and sweaters continue to be offset against the cost of stocks held.
Please contact Mike Fenn or Michael Constantinidi, our Chairman, if you have any ideas or suggestions about sponsorship of our activities or advertising in this handbook.
