The Association made a loss of £95 during the year.
The cost of coaching fees was significantly higher due to the Westway project. Half the cost of this coaching and coaching at schools is refunded to the Association by the Eton Fives Charitable Trust. The cost of coaching at Westway will continue to be high initially but is expected ultimately to be self-financing.
The income and costs of the Schools Championships for 2001 and 2002 are included in these accounts.
HSBC Insurance brokers again sponsored the Schools Championships in the sum of £1,500. We continue to be indebted to them for this and for the excellent evening's entertainment of the Bursars and Masters in charge of Fives which was hosted at Shrewsbury this year.
All revenues from the sale of coaching manuals and sweaters continue to be offset against the cost of stocks held.
Please contact myself or Michael Constantinidi, our Chairman, if you have any ideas or suggestions about sponsorship of our activities.
