In the first and second divisions, the League enjoyed one of its most successful seasons, with every match taking place, and very few pairs being conceded. In a first division of just five teams (which surely helped the 100% record), all of whom were well matched, the Old Olavians 1 were once again successful, but Old Harrovians, Old Etonians and Old Olavians 2 finished second equal just 5 points behind, and Old Edwardians finished just 3 points behind the rest. The Old Salopians have asked to rejoin the League next season, and will be readmitted into Division One. Old Ipswichians won Division Two by one point after a very close struggle at the top against Old Millhillians and Old Olavians 3, with Old Carthusians not far behind. The E.F.A. Club side have decided to pull out for next season, and St Olave’s School will replace them, having finished second in Division Three. Unfortunately the situation in Division Three left much to be desired, with some matches never being arranged, and many others not played or incomplete. The Old Westminsters 2 won the division, but five of the seven teams finished with a negative net tally of points after penalty points were deducted. Next season Windsor and Eton rejoin the League and North Oxford join for the first time. It has been agreed that Division Three should have just one match between each opponent for next year, and it is hoped that this will ensure a higher percentage of completed matches.
