Fives schools entered this competition, which is for teams of three pairs from each school. Each school played each other opponent in a two game match, scoring one point for each game won.
We were pleased to welcome Lancing and Westminster for the first time, and there were some very good matches leading up to the final round where St Olave's narrowly beat Westminster to clinch third place, and Highgate and Shrewsbury were locked in combat, both having secured maximum points thusfar. In a splendid contest all three pairs finished at one game apiece, and so the cup was shared.
1st= Highgate - 15 points
1st= Shrewsbury 15 points
3rd St Olave's - 9 points
4th Westminster - 8 points
5th Lancing - 1 point
